Here are some more progress photos….and some from the last TK Salon. I must say this past TK Salon was great! The group was a good mix. There were some new people and some old friends we hadn’t seen in a while and the baked goods came out great!! (I can also admit when some experiments yield less then great results.) The Whoopie Pies whooped with a modified coffee-marshmallow buttercream filling.
We decided to plaster the walls ourselves for various resaons, so we started this monday. Yesterday we bought 14, 30 kg bags of Rotband. That’s a lot of plaster to put on the walls. But as you can see from previous photos there are some ugly-textured walls to cover. It already makes us happy to see part of one wall covered.
If anyone would like to help us we would love to barter work for coffee and cake. Give us a few hours of your time and we will be happy to give you a generous store credit!
